Full name Sachin RameshTendulkar. Sachin was born April 24, 1973, in Bombay of India.His first cricket bat given by his sister at the age 11. Sachin Tendulkar was just 16 when he become India's youngest and popular Test cricketer. In 2005 he became the 1st cricketer to score 35 centuries in Test cricket. In 2007 Sachin Tendulkar reached another milestone, becoming the first player to reach 15,000 runs in one-day international cricket. Sachin also took home the World Cup with his team in 2011 and retired from the sport 2 years later.
As you know Sachin Tendulkar was born April 24, 1973 in Bombay, India to a middle class family and the youngest in four children. Schin father was a professor and his mother worked for a insurance company.
His named after his family favorite music director Sachin Dev Burman and Tendulkar was not a particularly gifted student but he always shown himself to be a standout athlete. Sachin was 11 years old when he was given his first cricket bat by his sister. At the age of 14, he scored 329 out of a world record stand of 664 in a school match.
After high school, Sachin enrolled at Kirti College, Bombay where his father also taught. Tendulkar's family is very close and years after he achieved cricket fame.
Tendulkar made his debut in international cricket at 16 with a match against Pakistan in Karachi(Pakistan). At the age of 18 he scored pair of centuries against Australia and then in 1994 he scored 179 in a match against the West Indies.
On June 4, 2012, Sachin was sworn in Rajya Sabha as Rajya Sabha member at the Parliament House which is in New Delhi. After retirement he selected for India’s largest award Bharat Ratna. He becoming the first sportsperson and youngest person to be conferred Bharat Ratna, on November 2013.
