With more individuals captivating with the micro-blogging site, US-based Twitter is discovering India to be one of its quickest developing markets, a top organization official said in New Delhi on Saturday.

Stanton said 78 percent of the Twitter activity now originates from outside the US, which means the becoming criticalness of developing markets.

"India is a developing business, which can be found out by the way that the Lok Sabha races produced around 60 million tweets," she said.

As per a late report, Internet in India 2014, together distributed by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and IMRB International, the quantity of Internet clients in India would achieve 302 million by December 2014, enlisting a year-on-year development of 32 percent over a year ago.
